The ridiculous remark made by Coulter yesterday has led me to remove her link. I know, its not much of a statement, but I can't condone such bigotry and stupidity.
On the bright side I've made room for two more links: "The Religion of Peace" dot com and the Fair Tax homepage.
The Fair Tax, for those who don't yet know, is kind of like the Flat Tax in as much as it is a proposal for dramatic tax reform. Simply, the way it would work is there would no longer be an income tax, as it would be replaced with a large sales tax. A fuller explanation can found by clicking here: About the Fair Tax. I know tax policy is not exactly exciting, but you have to consider what would happen to the world of American politics if politicians could no longer manipulate the tax code to buy votes. Additionally, taxing consumption encourages savings and investment while discouraging consumerism. I can't think of a single issue that could unite the Left and the Right like this one.
